Gift card fundraising, also known as scrip fundraising, has been the #1 fundraiser for nonprofit organizations across the U.S. for more than 25 years. Scrip is simply a word that means “substitute money” – in other words, scrip is gift cards & certificates from national and local retailers. They’re the same gift cards & certificates that you buy at the store. Many popular retailers participate in our scrip program including Publix, Wal-Mart, Target, Dennis Uniforms, Kohls, Outback, Home Depot, Dick’s Sporting Goods and many, many others. In fact, we have over 730 vendors nation-wide!
It’s simple — Participating retailers agree to sell gift cards & certificates to our organization at a discount. For example, if you purchase a $100 Home Depot gift card, you will receive a $100 value gift card. The RaiseRight program purchased the $100 scrip card for $96. The $4 difference is the profit for the St. John’s.

Consider purchasing a SCRIP Voucher instead and let them choose from the wide selection of gift cards available either online or OnDemand. Blank SCRIP Vouchers are available at the school office or you can contact the SCRIP coordinator for personalized requests.
SCRIP Vouchers will not be released without payment made to "St. John PTO". SCRIP Vouchers are available throughout the school year. Need to redeem a SCRIP Voucher? Simply place your SCRIP order online or OnDemand and use your SCRIP Voucher like cash for payment. You must submit your SCRIP Voucher with your order. No change will be given. Questions? YES! We are encouraging all our families to take advantage of online ordering at www.shopwithscrip.com or use the RaiseRight app on your phone. You can link a bank account or credit card for a small fee. You can also choose “Pay Coordinator” at checkout and send a check to the SCRIP coordinator. Your order will be released when payment is received.
